Weekend getaway!

Hi everyone !

So last weekend, we went to the mountains with one of our bestfriends and we had the best of times! We made sure to take a whole bunch of pictures to keep as memories and we thought we might share some with you!

We practically only took pictures when we were in the snow (yes, there was snow..lot's of it...), and we tried taking other pictures, but they did not turn out as good as we wanted. We hope you enjoy!

It all started when our bestfriend thought of inviting us up to her lodge and next thing you know, we were on a train heading in that direction! We had so much fun between skiing, sledging, having snow ball fights, jumping of the balcony into a snow pile, traveling us three together, watching movies and drinking hot cocoa! Sadly, we did not manage to capture everything we did as we wished we had but we still hope you enjoy!

We were lucky to have such amazing weather during these two days, so we had an exceptional view :

We practically skied all day which was so amazing, because we all love it!

We can not express how beautiful the mountains were, these pictures do not do any justice!

We had to take these adorable ski lifts which were two seated, they were not that comfortble, but aaaaahhhh, they were so cute!

But, we laughed so much, and we fell at least 10 times (or more) each!

(sometimes on purpose hehe)

We also tried sledging, but it did not turn out so well... We were still in our ski boots, which made it harder and well, we are definitely no masters with sledges! We still had a blast, between trying to figure out how to steer the sledge and tumbling down in the snowy ditches off the slope... If you have never gone sledging with friends or family, we really recommend it!

OH, and we also fell... AGAIN...

One of the many highlights of this amazing trip, was our return back home. We took the train to the mountains and back, which was (btw) so fun! Anyways, we were on the train near 5pm. and as we were passing by the lake, we experienced the most incredible sunset EVER! We were in so much shock, and could not take our eyes off of it. We managed to snap a couple of pictures, but since we were on the wrong side of the train, and we could see the reflections in the glass windows, they are not as splendid as we hoped.

We know that these photos are pretty blurry, but bare with us..the train was moving and it was really hard to capture the moment! (*insert laughing emoji*)

We felt as if it was some sort of sunset like you would see the Northern Lights.

These three pictures are the ones that turned out the best, but again, the camera can never capture a moment as well as the eye can. So image yourself in this train. With this beautiful sunset in front of your eyes. Only ten times more gorgeous than it already is.

Anyways, we both really recommend you and a friend/group of friends to take a weekend off if you have the chance and go some place! Anywhere, whether it is near of far away from where you live! Even hoping on the subway/train, rolling a dice and depending which number it lands on, say 3, going 3 stops and getting down there and just explore the new place!

We love going on adventures, even by exploring our own town and we encourage you to do the same!
